Ingredients
Meaty pork grind (1 or serving)
Salt
Baking soda
2 limes
- Utensils
Cutting board
Knife
Lime squeezer
Cooking tongs
Air fryer
Recipe Instructions
- Wash the pork grind with fresh water.
- Dry it well with a paper towel.
- Next, wash it with the lime juice.
- Once again, wash with fresh water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Add about 1 pinch of baking soda to every side of the pork grind. Spread it well with your fingers.
- Add a pinch of salt to every side of the pork grind and spread with your fingers.
- You may cut the pork grind in half or prepare it full size.
- Cut the meat part of the pork grind in the middle, one long cut from one side to the other. Make sure not to cut through the skin.
- Then, make the pork grind (chicharrón) fingers by cutting top to bottom. Again, make sure not to cut the skin.
- Add a little salt in between the meat.
- Cook the pork grind in the air fryer at 400°F for 15 minutes.
- Turn the pork grind and cook for 15 minutes.
- Your chicharrón is now ready to eat.
- You may add lime juice to the pork grind.
- Enjoy it!
