  • Knife

  • Lime squeezer

  • Cooking tongs

Recipe Instructions

  • Wash the pork grind with fresh water.
  • Dry it well with a paper towel.
  • Next, wash it with the lime juice.
  • Once again, wash with fresh water and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Add about 1 pinch of baking soda to every side of the pork grind. Spread it well with your fingers.
  • Add a pinch of salt to every side of the pork grind and spread with your fingers.
  • You may cut the pork grind in half or prepare it full size.
  • Cut the meat part of the pork grind in the middle, one long cut from one side to the other. Make sure not to cut through the skin.
  • Then, make the pork grind (chicharrón) fingers by cutting top to bottom. Again, make sure not to cut the skin.
  • Add a little salt in between the meat.
  • Cook the pork grind in the air fryer at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  • Turn the pork grind and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Your chicharrón is now ready to eat.
  • You may add lime juice to the pork grind.
  • Enjoy it!
